Equestrian Trail Marking
Trail marker are about 4” x 4” diamonds usually on right side of trail about eye level. There are different colored trails depending on area. Yellow dots with the number 1 on it designated the through trail that goes connects all sections of Greenway. There are other colors and numbers depending on section of Greenway please check posted maps.
White carsonite markers about 4” wide by 3 feet high designate equine trails and will be marked with E for Equine. Just below the E there will be a number that marks that spot on a fire department map for rescues. These markers will usually be marked with the words east or west telling which way you are headed. Other colored carsonite markers designate bike and hiking trails which horses should not be on. Dark green carsonite markers are for the multi-use trail opens to all trail users.
